HOW MUCH WILL MY NEW ROOF COST ME?
This is a great question, and one that depends on a number of variables. Most of our re-roofing customers have been able to receive brand new roofing systems for the cost of their annual insurance deductible. This obviously depends on your insurance policy, and whether or not your roof has incurred storm damage. Hail and wind damage can be extremely difficult to spot to the untrained eye, but Citadel Roofing Company knows exactly what to look for to identify storm damage. Call today to schedule your inspection.
WILL MY INSURANCE RATES GO UP IF I FILE A HAIL DAMAGE CLAIM?
The short answer is they absolutely should not go up. Hail damage falls into the “Act of God” category of insurance claims, and therefore your insurance carrier cannot increase your premiums from filing such claims.
MY ROOF ISN’T LEAKING, SO WHY SHOULD I GET IT INSPECTED?
This is one of the most common questions we get asked, and it’s a good one. The fact is that more often than not, a roof can have substantial hail or wind damage that qualifies for an insurance replacement prior to the roof leaking or otherwise showing damage. By the time you notice that water stain on your ceiling from the damage your roof took from the hail storm 3-5 year ago, you may already have incurred rotting decking or other ceiling support (i.e. ceiling joists), which can result in a far more costly repair.
